Description:	Visible bar joists is a highlight of this project. This is in keeping with the Bi Lo's consistent nationwide design of a store of this size. The visibility of these joists along with an improved lighting system, lends to an openness not typically found in other food stores. The 47,000 sq ft store along with 4,800 sq ft of retail space was located on a site of an old elementary school. This site required a 300 ft long x 24 ft high retaining wall, which separated the site from an existing flood plain. Bi-Lo has a very tight schedule for completion of their projects which J.S. Ridenour Construction met.

Description:	Krogers 17,000 sq ft addition/renovation of an existing store was a challenge due to the store remaining open at all times during construction. We had to protect both food items and customers from the hazards of construction, dust, and debris, while maintaining Kroger's strict completion schedule, which we were able to achieve.
